Laptop screens are designed for that brand, and usually model specific, of computer (usually different connectors, power usages, mountings, etc.) so compatibility is a big issue, but I'm sure there are some out there that are the same, but no way of telling. So buying any other computer make and model screen would probably be a waste of time and money. Best to buy a used laptop (maybe one that doesn't work but the screen is still good) of the same make and model as yours and have someone swap out the screen for you. Check your local paper, craig's list, ebay, used computer stores, etc...

Best of luck.

Just buy a used laptop that'll get you through, doesn't have to be special.

Locate the screws of your laptop to determine if they are the source of the problem. Shake your laptop gently and see if the screws also move in and out. If it moves, you just need to tighten those mini things in your laptop. Just carefully screw in the screws. Hope this will help.

No Alcohol. No window cleaner. They have an anti glare coating which must not be removed. Either buy a quality cleaner with wipes or just use a soft dry cloth.

From WikiHow:

- Dilute isopropyl alcohol (not rubbing alcohol, as it may contain oil) into a solution of no greater than 50% alcohol and 50% with distilled water / deionised water. Purified / bottled water works well too.

- Put the solution in a small atomizer bottle, the type that you push from the top to get a fine mist. Don't use this, however, to spray on the screen itself.

- Apply the solution to a cotton cloth, such as an old T-shirt, lint-free microfiber cloth, or other very soft cloth. A large cloth is best, since it will help to reduce the risk of leaving streaks across the screen from finger pressure.

- Wipe the cloth against the screen in a circular, or other consistent motion. Rapid circular movements generally eliminate streaks. Apply an even pressure to the cloth but take care not to press your fingers into the cloth or screen.

Use a microfiber cloth. It won't scratch your screen, cleans well, can be washed and reused and doesn't add to the landfill.
