I want to spend around $1000 AUD. I really dislike working on laptops but can i plug in my keyboard and monitor anyway? What sort of software packages come with new computers?
I am thinking of buying a new laptop, nothing fancy. Just wondering would a computer fair have laptops any cheaper than dick smiths etc. Or do leading edge have good deals on laptops???

my computer screen is cracked on my laptop. i have my kids photos and other files on the laptop that i need to retrieve. how can i do this
I want to connect it to an auxiliary VGA monitor, when I connect it, the output doesn’t go to the auxiilary screen no matter what function buttons i press and all that.
Other notes:
The screen is completely detatched, that is how I got it off a friend.
Not sure if Windows will boot or anything.
